Meet Chef Jessi: Nourishing Our Kindernest Community


Hi there! I’m Chef Jessi, and I have the pleasure of preparing nutritious snacks and meals for the students at Kindernest Montessori. Growing up in a big Italian family, I discovered early on that my happiest moments were spent surrounded by loved ones and food. This passion led me to pursue a career in the culinary arts, with the hope of bringing joy to others through my creations.

As a proud graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of restaurants and bake shops, gaining a deep love and appreciation for the culinary world. My career has allowed me to travel, learn, and experience life in a delicious way, and I am thrilled to share that passion here at Kindernest.


At Kindernest Montessori, I focus on creating beautiful, flavorful, and nourishing meals using locally sourced ingredients and seasonal influences. I believe in fostering sustainable food practices while introducing children to a positive, adventurous relationship with food. To me, food is not only a source of nutrition but also a way to build community and express love.

My goal is to create a menu that blends comforting, familiar favorites with new and exciting options, encouraging curiosity and a lifelong love for good, healthy food.
